
The Malaysian Peacekeeping Centre (MPC) has received a visit from Australian High Commission in Malaysia Delegation on 16th May 2024, led by the newly appointed DA, Col Corey Jason Shillabeer. The visit was to hold an occasion on meeting up with the MPC Commandant of the Australian Seconded Officers in MPC, Major Jonathan Bennett. Taking into account, this visit also aiming for possible opportunities for further collaboration that may support the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) on any similar endeavour.
The visit began with a comprehensive brief on MPC’s training concerning on management, environment, and facilities provided. The delegation toured the MPC compound and training facilities afterward and concluded with visitor signatures and exchange of mementos which held at the MPC Blue Haven Hall. Col Corey Jason Shillabeer in his speech, appreciated MPC for the warm welcome and hospitality provided during this visit. He also admiring the training execution concerning on peacekeeping operation provided by all staff and the Subject Matter Experts (SME) from MPC.
This visit has carried out a good working relationships and liaison between Australian High Commission and MPC and aligns with the fifth pillar of MPC’s Strategic Plan, which is to integrate and collaborate with strategic partners.
