The Commandant of Malaysian Peacekeeping Centre (MPC), Col Noor Azman bin Hj Yahya, has officialised the opening ceremony for MPC Sports Carnival Year 2024 on 23rd April 2024 held at the MPC Sports Arena. The MPC sports carnival started with the Table Tennis tournament early this month and continued with the Sepak Takraw tournament, which held from 23rd to 24th April 2024. Commandant in his speech has highlighted for all MPC Sports Team to show their esprit de corps and enthusiasm by performing to their best in all match events.
The Sepak Takraw tournament resulted to MINURSO as the champion, rose from third place in Table Tennis tournament. Meanwhile UNIFIL managed to hold ground and secure second place. MONUC did well in this game, but luck was not on their side, and they secured third place. After winning first place in Table Tennis, UNMHA dropped and completed the table in fourth place.
